Many thanks to all readers who took the time to fill out last week’s survey on chartering in Europe. Of those who replied, 28% have chartered in Europe. We asked if charter companies in Europe required a certificate of competency and 32% said yes. We asked where skippers acquired a certificate of competency and ASA 103 & 104 was the most popular answer followed by U.S. Sailing certified sailing schools.
