Sometimes the simplest solutions are the best solutions. That’s certainly the case with the classic Greyhound cocktail that prides itself, since its titular invention in the 1930s, as a cocktail with only two ingredients, plus ice. The main splash is fresh grapefruit juice that is tart and sweet at the same time and extra refreshing when cold. To the juice you can add either vodka or gin, to taste. Voila, a Greyhound. You might also add a wedge of line and perhaps some soda water, but that may be going overboard. Read more from the good mixologists at Tasting Table here.
