Thanks to all readers who took the time to reply to last week’s survey on going aloft in our boat’s rigs. Of the many readers who answered, 83% say they do go aloft to inspect their rigs, while 11% hire a rigger to do the job and 6% do neither. For those who do go aloft, 54% use a traditional bosuns chair, 18% use a mountaineering harness, 16% use an ATN MastClimber and 12% use mast steps.
