Blue Water Sailing’s publisher, George Day, announced today that the publishing company had expanded its focus on the multihull segment of the market.
“This month,” Day said, “we rebranded Multihulls Quarterly, which BWS has been publishing for 10 years, as Multihulls Today. It will still be published quarterly and will offer readers and advertisers the only regularly published multihull magazine with a subscriber base in North America.
“For more immediacy in this rapidly-growing field,” Day said, “we recently launched a new Multihulls Today website to provide daily coverage of the world of multihulls, both sail and power; we’ll continually update the website with news and videos about new boats, adventures, cruising, chartering and much more.
“We also are launching a new weekly Multihulls Today digital newsletter that will highlight the best features from the website plus original content. It will be similar to the already successful and well-received weekly newsletters Cruising Compass for sailors and Cruising Odyssey for powerboat owners. The new e-newsletter launches with 18,000 opt-in subscribers.”
Day also announced that following the launch last month of the new Blue Water Sailing website (45,000 monthly visitors), the company will publish the magazine on a quarterly basis starting with the Summer edition in June.
