Are you cruising along the Eastern shore this summer? You may want to consider joining the Annapolis – Newport race which commences June 8. Hosted by the Annapolis Yacht Club this will be the 37th running of the biennnial race.
Race chairman Jim Praley stated “We have put considerable time and effort into making Annapolis-to-Newport more accessible and convincing sailors that it’s not as daunting an undertaking as some might think,” Praley said. “We had a large number of first-time entries two years ago and the feedback we received from some of those skippers was very positive.” Read More
