Strarlink is nothing if it is not a work in progress. For cruisers, the ability to access the internet and all associated communications and search functions has been a complete game changer. But, we’ve rarely had a clear picture of how the system would work and what the plans would finally be and that uncertainty continues.
While the costs of antennas have remained fairly constant, it is the plans offered for various types of use and locations that continues to evolve. Can you use the simple roaming plan while at sea in 2025? Or will you have to upgrade to the more expensive maritime mobile plan?
