On Tuesday, after several weather delays, the team, known as the Unified Command, that is clearing away the wreckage of the collapsed Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore Harbor, got the go-ahead to set off precision explosives to remove the huge section lying across the Dali’s bow.
On March 26, the Dali lost power, crashed into the bridge and caused it to collapse. Following the bridge section removal, the UC announced that the deep draft Fort McHenry Channel was open to limited ship traffic. Read more.
