(yahoo.com) – A reality TV series on the Discovery Channel was searching for French minesweepers that had been built in Thunder Bay, Canada. In 1918 they were headed through the Great Lakes to go across the Atlantic to Europe but instead, during a storm, they sank along with nearly 80 sailors. The host of the series did not find the vessels but instead, using sonar scans and a remote-operated vehicle armed with a camera discovered the steam-powered Satellite in about 300-feet of water.
