(olympics.com) – The IOC (International Olympic Committee) has issued an updated statement as to having athletes, including sailors with a Russian or Belarusian passport, compete in the 2024 Olympics to be held in Paris. Their statement in part reads that they are in accord with the G7 leaders who state they want to ensure that “Russian and Belarusian athletes are in no way appearing as representatives of their states”.
