From Designboom comes this story of artist Melissa Mcgill’s public art project in Venice, Italy. Honoring the maritime history of the area as well as calling attention to the forces of climate change and mass tourism on the city, she has 50 traditional Venetian sailboats along the city’s lagoon and waterways.
