Send your answer to cruisingcompass@bwsailing.com. The winner, selected randomly from correct answers, will receive a Blue Water Sailing hat.
The winner of last week’s Mindbender is Tony Smith who correctly identified the Tropic of Cancer. “The Tropic of Cancer is nominally around 23 degrees North of the Equator, but fluctuates with the earth’s rotation, currently 23°26′13.1″ (or 23.43698°) North. It is the most northerly point where the sun can be overhead.”
