Joe Harris will be making a solo, non-stop, unassisted, Round-The-World record attempt going from Newport, RI to Newport RI, leaving Antarctica to starboard, aboard a Class 40 sailboat GryphonSolo2 (“GS2”). The attempt will be made in accordance with the rules of the World Sailing Speed Record Council, who will time the start and finish in Newport.
