The “standard atmosphere” pressure at sea level is what (given in ppsi, inches of mercury or millibars)?

Send your answer to cruisingcompass@bwsailing.com. A winner, who will receive a Blue Water Sailing hat, will be selected at random from the correct answers.

Thanks to last week’s Mindbender winner, Tim Kemerley, for his answer to “What does the DSC function on a VHF radio do?” DSC is digital selective calling. If you have entered your MMSI number and have a GPS hooked to your radio when you press the DSC button it sends out a message over channel 70 for a call for help. It tells the Coast Guard who you are and where you are.
