During a recent stop at Port Hudson Marina in Port Townsend, WA I walked by the Northwest Maritime Center and noticed teenagers working on wooden boats as an after school program. They were being taught by volunteers of the center and seemed to be really into their project. I thought that was a wonderful thing for them to learn and it turns out the center hosts tons of great events (including the annual Wooden Boat Festival), classes and programs for all ages. So this week’s featured website is a shout out to Northwest Maritime Center for the great work they do!
