Tis the Season
As my nightly walk takes me down the dock and through the marina, it’s hard not to stand for a while and appreciate the spectacle of Christmas lighting that boat owners have adorned their vessels with. Sailors, in general, are a festive lot so it comes as no surprise that we go “Clark Griswold” on our boats with decorations like Christmas trees, peace signs, stars and even a big glowing palm tree.
This holiday season, take time to appreciate the sights and sounds, special moments with family and friends, and the fact that, as cruisers, we get to experience a lifestyle unlike any other.
