After 12 years of having the same look, noonsite.com has had a refresh. Most of the changes are “under the hood,” so the way the new site navigates should be familiar to all.
The new pages are all scalable and will format more easily on tablets and smart devices. Behind the website, the content management system has been improved, allowing the editorial team to control pages more easily, as well as add the useful PDF files and photos they receive with your cruising reports. The site is now on new servers and should be faster and less prone to service interruptions.
Noonsite’s news pages highlight important information affecting destinations worldwide. Within the country and port pages, click on Related Reports to read cruising notes and updates from the community of users.
Noonsite.com is a community database, maintained by sailors for sailors, with reports sent in from cruisers worldwide. Anyone can be a Noonsite contributor; just send your reports and updates by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Noonsite wants news and information that is useful for other cruisers – reports on rarely visited anchorages, buoyage updates, companies providing good service, customs and immigration information – anything of value for fellow cruisers.
Happy surfing on the new noonsite.com!
