Giving Families a Break from Cancer

Founded in 2001, Sail 4 Cancer (part of the 4 Cancer Group) uses water-based activities as vehicles for fundraising and convalescence. A specialist respite provider, the charity funds day trips, short-breaks and holidays for British families living with cancer/those recently bereaved through cancer. The majority of the charity’s respite trips are linked to the water and its therapeutic powers.

From the moment you are diagnosed with cancer, your life is taken over by hospital visits, treatments, tests, uncertainty, and often, financial worries. For a day or a few weeks, Sail 4 Cancer takes cancer patients and their families away from the disease and the nightmare that they are living through.

In order to meet their objectives, Sail 4 Cancer raises funds through a variety of different means, and needs the support of individuals and groups. If you are interested in supporting Sail 4 Cancer, click here to find out more.
