The Blue Water Fest returns to downtown Port Huron, MI this year and will attract visitors
to the Black River and Huron Avenue area for five days, July 11-15, 2012. The highly anticipated summer festival will build on momentum from last year, combining a magnificent display of boats with a fabulous festival of music, food and fun on the river and the traditional Rotary’s International Day Parade!
Community favorite, the McDonagh Carnival, is back but in a new and sensational location!! All your favorite carnival treats, games and rides will take over Desmond Landing!
With more than 50,000 visitors expected, the Blue Water Fest will feature non-stop entertainment, activities and special events. Included will be a wide variety music talent on three stages; a juried fine art fair; an evening for the kids; an expanded carnival of exciting rides; an outstanding display of sailboats; as well as delectable culinary offerings; a lighted boat parade and the return of FIREWORKS on Sunday night!!
The 2012 Blue Water Fest will include major activities through Sunday evening. After the sailboats leave the river, Farmers Market, Juried Art Show, Carnival, music stages and the Soaring Eagle Parade of Lights, Fireworks and a Grand Finale Concert will round out the weekend festivities.
