There are few events that garner as much pomp and circumstance as honoring Queen Elizabeth for her 60 years of reign. On Saturday at 2 p.m., the Queen will lead one of the largest flotillas ever seen on London’s River Thames, with nearly 1,000 boats participating. It is sure to be an incredible sight and tickets are still available for the Diamond Jubilee festival in Battersea Park, which will offer a great vantage point to view the pageant. The festival will celebrate design, music, art, film, fashion and food from the past 60 years. Members of the public will also be able to watch the pageant on a number of big screens.
