Kisses Cookies

Most of us have seen these cookies before, but did you know they were so easy to make? Or that the ingredients were so simple that you might actually have everything in the galley already? Even if you don’t have Hershey’s Kisses, try substituting another favorite chocolate candy, and for the holidays you can top them with one of the more festive flavor Kisses, like peppermint. Yum!

1 cup peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 bag of Hershey’s Kisses

Prep: Preheat oven or toaster to 350 degrees. Mix everything but Kisses in a bowl. Roll mixture into 1-inch balls and place 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. While baking, unwrap the same number of Kisses as cookies that are baking and set aside Kisses. As soon as you remove the cookies from the oven, place one Kiss firmly in center of each cookie. Do this before removing cookies from baking sheet. Let them sit undisturbed while the cookies and Kisses cool so that the Kisses don’t lose their shape.
