Many of you might just be hitting the Caribbean…have you thought about where you’ll head next?
The number of boats registered for ARC Europe 2012 is now 18, with half being ARC 2011 participants, one joining from the Caribbean 1500 and one returning after circumnavigating with World ARC.
ARC Europe is a great way to carry on cruising after the Caribbean sailing season finishes. It’s not a delivery passage, but a cruise in its own right, allowing you to explore the Atlantic islands of Bermuda and the Azores before making landfall on mainland Europe. There are opportunities for crew changes in Hampton, Tortola, Bermuda, Faial, Sao Miguel and Lagos – all have airports with good international connections.
Boat owners that participated in the 2011 ARC and Caribbean 1500 are eligible for a 20% discount on the boat entry fee if signed up before December 17 and all others will receive a 5% discount for all early bookings.
