On October 1st and 2nd, San Francisco Bay Area sailors will raise their sails and thousands of dollars in the race against blood cancer. The Leukemia Cup Committee and The San Francisco Yacht Club hosting the sixth annual San Francisco Bay Area Leukemia Cup benefitting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
Sailors of all levels are welcome to participate in the regatta as well as the weekend’s events, which include a VIP reception, silent auction, dinner and live auction with items such as a chance to race aboard AC45 catamarans. Venture capitalist John Doerr will be the VIP speaker. For those who can’t make it, the online auction will be open for bidding until Friday, September 30th at 9 pm.
