Mediterranean cruisers should find this new service center to be very helpful.
Nautor’s Swan, Finnish manufacturer of the Swan range of sailing yachts, is set to launch a Mediterranean service center in Italy.
Located at Marina di Scarlino in Tuscany, the new base will open on September 30, offering refits, modifications, upgrades and insurance work for Swan clients throughout the region.
Leading the project is Gunnar Svenfelt, who takes on the role of project manager. Svenfelt has spent 10 years working in the customer service department at Nautor’s main yard in Pietarsaari, Finland.
“Over recent years, many Swans have based themselves from Marina di Scarlino, and this new initiative will enable us to expand our offering and deliver the quality craftsmanship locally that Nautor’s Swan is renowned for,” says Gael Rossi, managing director of Marina di Scarlino.
“We look forward to welcoming a range of Swans this winter, from the smaller models up to the Swan 100 which our marina is able to cater for.”
Nautor’s Swan builds high-performance sailing yachts and was founded by Pekka Koskenkyl in 1966.
