The National Hurricane Center has named its fifth tropical storm of the 2011 season. Tropical Storm Emily is expected to impact Puerto Rico, Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, the Bahamas and eventually hit the U.S. at the southeastern tip of Florida and make its way up the eastern seaboard, possibly going as far as Cape Hattaras, N.C. by the upcoming weekend. Sustained winds of 34 to 64 knots are expected throughout the course of the storm. Mariners should use extra caution is these areas. For the most up to date information, go to www.nhc.noaa.gov.
