What would you do if you happened upon a humpback whale entangled in fishing net with little time left to survive? It’s fairly safe to say that most of us would be uncomfortable hopping in the water and trying to disentangle it, but Michael Fishbach of the Great Whale Conservancy shows us that it can be done with little more than a pocket knife and the reward far exceeds the satisfaction of saving the life of an animal. Check out his narrated video of how he did it, and be sure to watch the entire eight minutes. It’s worth it!
