Sailors for the Sea is accepting applications for a Program Specialist at its headquarters in Newport, RI. The application deadline is this Friday, June 10th. The Program Specialist will head up development and implementation of several core programs to the organization’s mission.
As a small nonprofit, Sailors for the Sea staff are expected to be flexible in their job and help with responsibilities that may fall outside of their primary role. In addition to program implementation, the Program Specialist will also be expected to help with day-to-day office tasks such as mailing, filing, taking out recycling, ordering supplies, interacting with vendors, and most notably, grant research and writing (working with the Fundraising Consultant and CEO).
