Keeping the lightweight (2.8 lbs) Versimat on board ensures that you’ve got an easy way to clean these spills up without any trouble. The Versimat is infused with patented chemistry, rendering it highly absorbent to oil and repellent to water. A sweep or boom only absorbs oil where it contacts the oil/water interface. The Versimat has been designed to maximize effective contact area and minimize weight. At 55″ x 10′, the Versimat is more effective than standard sweep/boom products, but can also be used as a sweep or barrier when necessary.
