Website of the Week: NOAA Hurricane Preparedness

Hurricane season officially began in the Eastern Pacific on May 15 and in the Atlantic on June 1, running through November 30 in both areas. This week, May 22-28, is National Hurricane Preparedness Week and with NOAA predicting a more active than normal hurricane season, it’s a great time to brush up on preparing for a hurricane and have a safety plan whether you are out at sea or close to shore.
