This winter and spring, the Marion Bermuda Race and BWS will sponsor a three-part online seminar series so you can gain in-depth weather knowledge from the comfort of your home. Offshore sailor, BWS columnist and weather expert Bill Biewenga will moderate the sessions. The webinars are open to everyone, but parts 3A and 3B will be specific to crossing the Gulf Stream and the race itself.
Session 1: Communications will take place on February 5th
Session 2: Reading the Weather will take place on March 12th
Session 3A: Long-Range Climatology for the Marion Bermuda Race will take place on April 16th
Session 3B: Near-Term Forecast Discussion will take place on June 11th
Each session is $150, or sign up for all three sessions for $350. If you register before January 15th, you will receive a 10% discount. For more information or to register, go to www.marionbermuda.com.
