When looking at a 48 hr 500 mb chart if a closed circulation low has an X followed by a track line then an L followed by another track line and finally an X what is the current low position? Is it the "L"? Reason I ask is that the corresponding 48 hr surface chart Low position does not correspond to the L on the 500 mb chart. Reference the OPC Atlantic 48 hr valid for 0000 March 13.
