New Kadey-Krogen 55’ Expedition Wins People’s Choice Award
For an unprecedented fourth time, a Kadey-Krogen yacht has been honored with PassageMaker Magazine’s People’s Choice Award. The award presented at Trawler Fest last week in Stuart, Florida, was given to Invictus, hull #1 of the new Kadey-Krogen 55’ Expedition trawler yacht.
The People’s Choice Award was presented on the final day of the Stuart Trawler Fest after nearly 1,500 attendees had a chance to tour the trawlers and cruising powerboats on exhibit and vote for the best in show. The constant stream of attendees in and out of the new 55’ Expedition was a clear indication of her popularity among a crowd of cruising enthusiasts. Seasoned cruisers as well as newcomers to the lifestyle were all drawn to the powerful but graceful lines of the Kadey-Krogen 55’ Expedition and the spacious, elegant, and functional layout of the interior.
“The Kadey-Krogen 55’ Expedition was really a hit and we were thrilled to help introduce her to a dedicated cruising-under-power audience,” said Rob Dorfmeyer, publisher and general manager of PassageMaker Magazine. “With dozens of trawlers on display including at least 15 larger than 50 feet, the 55’ Expedition was the clear and decisive winner.”
